Sub-Sea Settler's Neckpiece
Eridanus Cluster
32nd century
Sterling silver, fine silver, opal, moonstone, quartz, and tourmaline
This necklace, along with matching bracelet, were the adornment of a deep-sea submarine captain from a sub-sea dome colony on one of the ocean worlds in NGC 1300. It is thought that this duo was commissioned for her as an homáge to her love of the ocean.
This stunning sterling silver neckpiece is an homáge to the deep sea. The series of seven elegant silver forms are with dusted with holes and ripples of fine silver filigree to emulate the currents of bubbles of the ocean and studded with smokey quartz and blue, green, and rose tourmalines to bring the piece to life. The forms hang suspended from a supple steel cable encased in silver tubing with and easy to use, streamlined tension clasp.
